Our Community's Story: Exploring the Diversity of Habitats and the Interrelationships Between Humans and Their Environment at Carpenter Park by Joelle Wheeler, Washington Village School  It is important that comprehensive assessment plans be fair, valid, meaningful, and effective. One step toward ensuring this is to keep a record of the variety, balance, and frequency of assessments taking place during the course of the year. An assessment plan matrix is a tool that can help simplify this task. Note that the matrix below gives particular attention to how often generalized-standard assessment occurs.
